FTS Welding has been a specialist in robotic welding solutions and products for many years.
The company's head office is based in Joué-Lès-Tours (37) in a 4000m2 building comprising the main study, production, welding test and development research units.
To complete teams, the company has design offices in Paris region Lognes dep (77) in Romania, and a purchassing office for welded and machined mecanical sets based in Turkey.
Our history
1960
FTS was created in the 1960s under the name MFG (Mécanique à Façon de Gentilly). Originally the company made mechanical parts in the field of welding.
1997
In 1997, the company decided to produce the first robot grippers incorporating electric cylinders and modular grips. This new activity enabled the company to change its core business, moving from machining center to component supplier in the world of welding.
2010
In 2010, the company changed its name and shareholders and moved towards the development of turnkey solutions. It then integrates a design office for automation, robotics, cobotics and mechatronics.
2023
Today FTS is one of the market leaders in offering welding robot cell solutions to the industrial and automotive sector thanks to the recently filed IMITE patent.
FTS has a unique solution on the market for collaborative robots.
